"I liked it very much, simple but exciting, and a very beautiful third part", said Antón Seoane when we asked him for his permission to publish this. So, with his permission...

...here goes "Y Wrach", our current version of this beautiful melody, "A Bruxa" (The Witch).

Milladoiro was and still is one of Galicia's most iconic folk bands there ever were. They played a key role in the revival of the Galician folk and traditional music scene, right from their debut album in 1980.

Anton Seoane, Milladoiro's founder and key member until 2013, composed many of the melodies which made the band well known around the world. Many of those melodies are still very popular, like "A Bruxa". Indeed, we recently got curious and looked for other versions of "A Bruxa" on YouTube... and there are lots!!! So many, that we decided to create our own playlist. If you want to have a listen, you can find it here:

Our version has an extra part, which Michał composed, as well as harmonies and arrangements also mostly of his authorship, hence we decided to rename the tune and call it by its Welsh translation: Y Wrach.
